Viking treasure found

I always find this sort of historical discovery story interesting. This time, I thought I would put it on my blog. I know my family traces back to this area of England and so would like to think that some of the items in the Viking stash were stolen from my ancestors. Maybe my sister Alice, the "Amazing Ancestor-Finder," will prove it.

That piece on the bottom-ish left, the shiny, round-looking piece, definitely looks like something your ancestors would have owned.

Awsome discovery! And it doesn't sound like they are having a big fight over it. I'm still working on making a connection to Churchill and Princess Diana. Alice

Alice is referring to the fact that the Spencers (my grandparents from England family) were related to the Spencers who gave Winston Churchill his middle name and also the Spencers from which Princess Diana sprng.

However, like evolution, the simple fact that man and ape may have had similar roots does not mean that we're all monkeys; so we're not all royalty who have a common link in Britain.
