A Few Notes About Uncommon Folks

Maybe you remember this unhappy couple? They are the ones that everyone "in the know" was saying (about 7 years ago) would be getting divorced any day now. As soon as Bill left office ... remember? As you can see, they are simply miserable together.

Not everyone who babbles about "family values" really understands family values; maybe the Clintons do. I don't know about you, but I'm not surprised or disappointed to see that they're still hitched and apparently happy in their lives and work.

Co-incidentally, I understand that Chelsea is doing just fine, also, probably better than Boopsy and Booboo, the Bush twins.

About that Bush-Libby connection, speaking of surprise and disappointment:


If you are surprised that Bush gave Libby his freedom, then you are a jackass. The only surprise would be if Libby had actually served his confinement. The friends of George and Dick do not go to jail!!! -- and they do not go poor. They aren't susceptible to the ordinary rules, don't you know that?

Some people will consider this presidential pardon (oops, I mean commutation) unfair. Some call it "cronyism" and will consider this corruption. They are right.

The Bush crowd does not disappoint me with it's sleaziness. Have you forgotten the other Bush brothers? There are a bunch of them, and they're all manipulators. It's evidently inherited from several generations. I would be disappointed if they had all suddenly gone moral.

Frankly, I don't understand the discussion about who those terrorist bombers arrested in Britain are. Doctors. Middle class people. Educated people.

As if religious fanaticism were reserved only for the poor and downtrodden in society. Hardly. Look at the religious weirdos in America. They aren't Muslim --- and they sure aren't the poor and stupid.
