Dig...: wrote that the first ever Hindu invocation before the U.S. Senate was disrupted by hecklers. Dig says: "Personally, I would like to see separation of religion and government with no exceptions. Problem solved."
(I found myself agreeing with him. Although Congress has a Constitutional right to set its own procedings, if some religious groups wish to turn this into a contest between "gods" then probably it would be best if the Congress took itself out of the religion business. )
