A Fox, not so sly ...
Dig...S. has sent a reference to a Pew Research study which shows the information level of various American groups. These discouraging numbers can be played with a lot, but here are a couple of fascinating points:
The group that scored the lowest in knowledge of the news were Fox viewers, who were substantially lower than, say, the folks who watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Dig's comment on this is a sarcastic, "surprise, surprise." What is even more wonderful from a liberal perspective is that we might conclude EITHER that people who are ignorant watch Fox News or that watching Fox News makes them ignorant. Or, both?
Only 69% of the people polled could identify the Vice President of the United States.
