Update: Tasering revisited

I suppose you overly sensitive antitasering people are gonna get all uppity about this one, too. Such bleeding hearts!

Saint-Isidore, Quebec:
Canadian Police tasered an unarmed man to subdue him when he was found in the bathroom of a Greyhound bus tearing the skin off his own head.

I can't even imagine why ANYONE might conclude that this man had mental problems. Don't people do that everyday? Alice

Okay. So as I mentioned before, the U.N. considers tasering to be torture. As do I. Also, police officers are trained to subdue people using non-lethal force without the use of a gun or a taser. Or don't they bother with such formalities any longer? Additionally, the mentally ill deserve a certain amount of compassion. It is sad how we have come to routinely treat them as criminals. Now I must go put a scooby-doo bandage over my bleeding heart before it's too late.
