For those of you with a graveyard interest: you'll be delighted to know that MSNBC is doing extensive coverage of the cadaver found floating in Ohio.

This body, which is assumed to be that of a missing pregnant mother, is now the centerpiece of 24 hour coverage by NBC, which used to concentrate on actual news stories in the good old days.

So, the story has transmogrified from a "search for missing woman" story into a "let's pick over the bones story." This is good because some of the viewers had seen that film of the search party about 20 times, and that's enough.

But don't worry. Knowing the perverse nature of American men., there'll be another missing women in no time, and back we go to another river or forest. Rejoice!
