Wacko of the Week -- 02/09/08

Like most of the rest of the media outfits these days, it seems that American pollsters are also full of baloney.  Judging by this year's performance of pollsters, none of their results can be relied upon, unlike in some years past when certain pollsters such as Lou Harris and George Gallup could pretty much be depended on to have it close or even accurate in their results.

We all know about the total miscalling of the New Hampshire results. The polls said Obama would win, but Clinton actually won by a wide margin.

Here's the latest example, polls published ON ELECTION DAY, 'Super Tuesday':

Of course, McCAIN won the Republic primary and CLINTON won the Democratic primary. When a politician tells you next time not to trust the polls, believe him. (or her)

RUNNER UP

TINA WILLIAMS of St. Augustine Florida who has "never had a driver's licence" was arrested while driving drunk. She had a case of beer securely buckled in the front seat. Inexperienced at driving as she may have been, she knew enough to protect the beer. Must be a woman well-trained by a mean guy. You might have guessed, it was Super Bowl Sunday when this occurred, and allowances might be made.

Except, in the back seat was an unrestrained child. Whoops! When asked why the little girl was not in a seat belt or child seat, the drunk ninny said, "I don't know." Arrested! Jailed!
