The blog may not be updated for the next couple of days. This is travel time. We'll be hitting the road as early as possible tomorrow morning, leaving Florida and heading home. We may or may not stop on the way home. If we can drive straight through without falling asleep at the wheel, we will.
We've had a great time here, and are reluctant to leave this nice place for the frozen wasteland of the north just now. We've been comfortable in our lodging and thank our friends Sharon and Claude for renting to us.
We golfed a reasonable number of times, had a wonderful time renewing friendship with Gender, swam a lot, made new friends from Wisconsin, walked and explored and even took our hand at playing pickleball. Now we'll go home, turn up the heat and shovel snow for awhile.
We had visitors all of whom we enjoyed. Our kids wanted to stay busy, so they wore us out.
We tried to keep in touch with friends and family from back home, and we appreciate all those who made an effort to keep in touch with us.
We were not as good at keeping up with the blog, though everyday, we made an effort.
