Protecting your right -- to guns

I suppose someone will try to nit-pick this story, and complain that we're not being fair, but I believe that the gentleman in the following article -- Mr. White -- has it just right.

I believe he was using his guns the way gun enthusiasts (or as they like to call themselves, "sportsmen") most admire.

Don't we all own these guns to protect the sanctity of our homes and castles, especially against the horrible government which seeks to oppress us?

Don't we all have these guns so that we can make individual decisions about who should be shot and who shouldn't?

ODESSA, Texas - Two police officers responding to a domestic disturbance were killed and a third was critically wounded by a gunman who led Texas authorities on an hours-long standoff, authorities said.

The suspected gunman in the shooting Saturday night, 58-year-old Larry White, will likely face two counts of capital murder and attempted murder of an officer, said Tela Mange, a Department of Public Safety spokeswoman.

Mange said White was shot in the abdomen and was in stable condition at a hospital under police guard.
