1 Dead, 2 Hurt in Ga. Hospital Shooting

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Authorities in west Georgia say one person is dead and two more are wounded in a shooting at a hospital.
Columbus Police Chief Ricky Boren confirms that at least one of the three victims in Thursday's shooting at Doctors Hospital has died.

Manhunt Launched for Va. Highway Shooter

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Gunfire struck several vehicles along an 11-mile stretch of Interstate 64 early Thursday, injuring two people and forcing police to shut down a portion of the road for nearly six hours.
The highway reopened around dawn, but Col. Steven Flaherty told reporters at a news conference that the shooter or shooters could still be in the area. Investigators were looking for suspects, but did not tell motorists to avoid the interstate.

2 Students Injured in Texas Shooting

TYLER, Texas (AP) — Authorities are looking for a gunman who shot two Texas College students outside an off-campus dorm.
Tyler police spokesman says Roy Morgan was shot Thursday in the abdomen. The 19-year-old is hospitalized in serious condition.
Twenty-year-old Bobby Hughes had been shot in the hand and was released from the hospital.
