Clarence and Anita

At the time of the hearings for Clarence Thomas before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Anita Hill appeared to testify that Thomas had sexually harassed her when she worked for him.

At that time (1991) the public was left to believe either her or Thomas who of course denied these allegations.

Now, Thomas has written a book in which he apparently reviews those days and makes new charges that Anita Hill lied about him. You can buy his book My Grandfather's Son: A Memoir HERE . No one here under the Birches has read this book yet.

Thomas has also been interviewed for several television shows, promoting his book.

Anita Hill has made an answer. She absolutely sticks by her story. You can read her commentary here: HILL'S COMMENTS

excerpt:
"Fortunately, we have made progress since 1991. Today, when employees complain of abuse in the workplace, investigators and judges are more likely to examine all the evidence and less likely to simply accept as true the word of those in power. But that could change. Our legal system will suffer if a sitting justice’s vitriolic pursuit of personal vindication discourages others from standing up for their rights."

Comment: Frankly, once again for what it's worth to have my opinion, I have always believed her.
