One day, we hired Captain Sandy and his "John" boat to go exploring along the coastal marshes and islets.
He threw his net into the water to catch ......
This!
Then he tore off its exoskeleton and head, and we ate it!
Just like a raw bar.
I'll never forget the sound of that poor shrimp screaming.

Sounds like Captain Sandy "gave you the raw prawn" (Australian for a raw deal). Hardy hah hah.
Big smile, Irene!
The captain was quite a talker and very colorful, you had to wonder how much was blarney; but he spent four hours showing us the marshes and wildlife, and we felt like we got our money's worth and had a great experience.
