simple thought

I have never been afflicted with Obamania, although I voted for him enthusiastically in the general election, I must say that it's wonderful to have a President again who is respected around the world.  I am quite proud of our country after I heard what he said in Cairo.  The fact that some right-wing nuts are all upset about it is further evidence, as far as I'm concerned, that he said the right things.

I like Obama's fresh approach of talking to people and trying to meet them halfway instead of shooting first and then asking questions.
Time will tell whether the stimulus will work. At least the stimulus money stays in this country, unlike the $700 or so billion we have spent so far on Iraq which dwarfs the stimulus money.
Still, I welcome Cheney, Limbaugh etc. trying their hardest to be a check and balance since they did such a good job of setting the table for the Obama election due to their rotton policies.
Ironically, the Republicans damaged the system so badly many of thse checks and balances have been neutralized.
Wouldn't it be something if Michelle ran for President in 2016 ??

It almost seems like our last government set out deliberately to screw things up, and that $700B war is but one good example. I am so mad at myself that I went along with it at first! I believed the lies. Most of my friends, didn't.
