What a game !!!! And I am not a big soccer fan, but this one was captivating due to the differing strategies.
US decided to lay back on defense and attack if possible ---Brazil was an all-out offensive machine led by the great Marta, but they failed to score on our BEAUTIFUL goaler ( I know -sexist remark ).
Presented on TV without commercial interruption, the flow and momentum of the game could be sensed by the viewer--
And in HI-DEF with all the ladies zits visible !!!!
Does life get any better ????
Thanks for the comment, Mr. Dashmann. The Brazilian women get most of the press, but the American women beat them with regularity -- not always, but often. Not enough folks understand what a wonderful women's team we've had for the last 10 or 12 years.
And most of them are very nice people, not just good athletes. And yes, some are very cute.
