Correction (from SPARTY)
The article from Soujourners I forwarded ... is from a magazine edited by Jim Wallis, an evangelical Protestant. It's not connected in any way with Catholicism. What we find interesting about Wallis' magazine is that, even though he's an evangelical, he's politically liberal. His editorials have been very critical of the Bush gang and their policies.

That's refreshing to hear. On another topic - does anyone really want George W at their convention? It's a sad state of affairs when a serving president is such a liability to his party that his role in the party's convention has to be played down.
