SPARTY has posed a conundrum: Bush claims that in order to respect the war dead and their survivors, he has stopped playing golf. SPARTY - says this is because Bush is stupid.
GIGi - says it's because Bush is nuts.
JANET - says it's because Bush is drunk again.
Any other theories out there as to why Bush says he quit playing golf?

He can't remember what a golf club's for(e). He thinks it's where stupid people go to drink and eat nuts and he can't afford to be seen doing any of the above. Alice
Got an email from JOHN H who says:
" I think he thinks, I don't think he's drinking, and his illness is spiritual, not mental."
I think he says that because he is a liar. I saw on TV that he has been playing golf.
Because a mate of his wants to build a golf course and resort in a national park. So he's declared he's not playing golf to respect the war dead and survivors. Soon he'll announce the ingenious plan to build a golf course in honour of the war dead and survivors, but it will have to be in that national park.... Hey, then he'll want a memorial oil field in Alaska too, cause that's what the soldiers really died for - oil. I need some sleep!
