IF

A history professor of mine once said that a good historian does not use the word "if".

Nevertheless, I keep thinking what the world would be like IF Bush had never been chosen President by the Supreme Court, 8 ugly, bitter,culturally divided, bankrupt, war-weary years ago.

How ironic that W may be the only chance the car companies have to stay alive after all the bad things I have said about him these last, long 8 years.
My pension and a lot of others could be in his hands.
If this decent and maybe final act of his administration comes to fruition, I guess I would have to owe him a big one that will make susequent criticism from me very difficult indeed.
