This personal note, bereft of any political significance, is brought to you by a grandfather who is happy as can be just now. Bear with me. I went toy shopping for the first time in 25 years or more. I didn't recognize most of the gadgets, and was amazed by a lot of the offerings.

Did you see any Zhu-zhu pets? We need to think of something similarly useless and silly but desired by all little children so we can all retire in luxury after next Christmas.
