Obama and his Party


SPARTY has sent an editorial comment from Paul Krugman, of the New York Times in which he criticizes Obama for his mean words towards the progressives in his party. He calls them "purists" and lectures them as if they were irresponsible and naive. This makes him self -pitying and self-centered.

There's another equally interesting link on this page to an article called Let's Not Make a Deal by Krugman. I agree with him that Dems should draw a line in the sand and let all the cuts expire. Poor people have learned how to with less and less and less and less. The extensions will be un-ending and social security funds will slowly be drained finally making the GOP case for privatizing SS in a few years.
