It is my beloved Skuzza 42 years ago, holding young Woodrow ( Woody ) Dashmann the night we got him, April 24, 1968, the year of the Detroit Tigers World Series win. We had just picked him up in Fenton ( yes thats correct --he was a true Fenton Tiger ala the high schools teams nickname ). He grew to 16 pounds ,had long legs, and had sharp markings. He was a one man cat - mine was the only lap he would sit on - albiet with my hand wrapped in front of his shoulders so as to anticipate and ward off any "playfull?? attacks on his part. He lived a full life of 16 years, thanks to what seemed like a quarterly shot of pennicillan to fight infections due to him fighting every animal in sight, but left us with a lifetime of memories. He was a helluva cat.
