From Lake Michigan, to SCOT, to the grill, to the happy eaters. This is one of three large salmons that SCOT and STEVE provided for the labor day gathering.
======== STEVE: find something you love and then work at it!

DELICIOUS! So much so, we're still eating it all :)
Hi there! I posted on this wonderful fishfest on my fledgling blog. http://michiganmugsandmeals.wordpress.com/ We just had pasta in a creamy smoked Swiss sauce with garden veggies and smoked salmon for dinner last night. When it rains, it pours! Yum.
Sounds delicious. We had boring old lasagne :( At least the kids ate it. No fresh salmon here to catch - there is a local salmon - but it's no good to eat. All of our salmon comes from Tasmania - and it's Atlantic salmon - I didn't quite understand that - but apparently it's all farmed.
