A friend made a presentation to the Civil Discourse group in which he listed (and then defended his list of) The Ten Greatest Lessons of History.
I thought about this list for awhile and decided that the number one lesson on my list, which was not on his, would be this:
God, whoever or whatever one conceives that to be, does not take sides.
What do you think?

Mmmm. I not sure about that one but my gut reaction may be to think she may be Mother Nature, whom I sure doen't take sides... :)
Except for NASCAR where he picks one driver each Sunday to win and puts the screws to 41 other drivers in the process !!!
To carry this one step further,if God, or a god, created this universe, it is obvious that it certaiinly does not micro-manage what occurs in this universe. History has shown that.
Thank you, friends, for your contributions. I know what you're talking about John and maybe, just maybe, Tim Tebow's God is helping him win football games.

"History" has shown, WNNCO, what happened, but it's not for us to question why because it's all part of God's plan - and his ways aren't our ways. :)
Again I must reiterate that "god does not micro-manage". Blind belief may be a mainstay for religion and politics, but not for reality.
