Everything you say, John, I agree with. I doubt if it will be Hillary, however.
What is sort of sad is that I have a hard time thinking of many people I would want for President -- from either party. The whole political landscape looks so corrupted and ineffective to me that I can't easily find anyone in it who is liberal enough and clearly unbought.
There will be all sorts of Republican candidates and Democratic carping opposing Obama, however he WILL win the election. They should save their money and buy some legislative seats. They are all for sale.

Obama is a shoe-in for 2012.
