One of them is not reading them."

A great source of SF books with subtle messages for a young teenager in the 50's and 60's.

One of my favorite Bradbury novels is 'Green Shadows,White Whale', which is really a collection of short stories of his adventures in Ireland while writing the screen play Moby Dick for director John Huston during the early 1950’s. While there, he tells of the many strange and surreal stories of the boys in Flinn's Pub along with other adventures he encounters while in Ireland.

Not Sci-fi? Depends on your perspective when 14 years old in the 1950"s.

Thanks for loaning me the book, Mike.

I think, mostly, Sci-Fi reading is a male pastime.

Oh those damn white males. Never fear they will soon be gone.
