Darn, that was my next guess. But, Mike, you didn't indicate the year.:) Anybody here old enough to remember this landing? A daring move by MacArthur that trapped a major part of the North Korean army and emboldened MacArthur to push north toward the Chinese border - not a good idea.

ReplyDeleteTechnically it was the Korean conflict. No war was ever declared. The last declared war was WWII.
