I wonder what the founding fathers would think of Donald, Michelle and Sarah as potential candidates for President. They probably would have made some sort of intelligence test/mental challenge a prerequisite for office. You must be 35, you must be born a citizen, you must not be a populist fool.
They probably wouldn't be surprised. The founding fathers worried about the popular will being misled by the "artful misrepresentation" of populist candidates - the Senate and the Electoral College were meant to check those "passions."
